This year, Cherry Orthodontics found an organization called Soldiers’ Angels that would include the candy in their care packages that they send out to military members. In order to donate, we had to get the candy to Soldiers’ Angels’ headquarters in Texas.
Dr. Cherry has a friend who works at Just Born, and the Bethlehem candy company said it was more than happy to make a candy donation of its own. Just Born then offered to drive their candy haul to San Antonio.
The donation is a big one, at 1,000 pounds of candy. Thank you to all of our patients, friends, family, Just Born, and community members that participated this year!

Soldiers’ Angels is a national non-profit organization that provides aid, comfort, and resources to active military, veterans, and their families. The group provides a number of services throughout the year, including morale boosting care packages, letters, support, and yes — even candy! — to combat deployed service members.
